ANTI SLIP FLOOR TREATMENT SERVICE
NevaSlip is an 18 year old anti-slip, floor treatment company. Our goal is to make each floor that we treat, slip-resistant, according to OSHA and the Americans with Disabilities Act requirements. We guarantee that a NevaSlip treated floor will have a compliant Static Coefficient of Friction (SCOF) reading of at least 0.6 and will remain that way for a minimum of 8 years.TREATMENT DESCRIPTION
Floors are treated by our technicians using NevaSlip's proven anti slip formulas.- Microscopic Etching: This treatment microscopically etches an invisible tread into the surface. These treads prevent the sole of a shoe or foot from slipping and sliding; thereby creating a non-slip surface. In most cases, there will be little or no gloss reduction or color change Slip-resistance exceeds ASTM requirements. May be used indoors or outdoors.
- Clear, Non Slip Acrylic Coating with crystal clear polycarbonate aggregate. An exceptionally durable, fade resistant, non yellowing coating with a high gloss finish. Slip-resistance exceeds ASTM requirements. May be used indoors or outdoors.
FREE TILE TESTING SERVICE
If you provide us with sample tile(s), we will treat them with one or both of our treatments and return them to you, at no charge. In this way, you will be able to see exactly what your floor will look and feel like, before you have the work done. You will be amazed at how slip resistant and safe your floors can be after a NevaSlip treatment.APPLICATION
NevaSlip is always applied by our factory trained technicians. These professionals have many years of training and experience. It takes our crews about one hour to treat 500 square feet. Application times are scheduled at your convenience, usually when your business is closed, so there is no interruption or inconvenience. If the etching treatment is selected, the floor will be slip-resistant and ready to walk on, as soon as our crew is finished. Cleaning can be done the same as always. If the Acrylic Coating is selected, the floor will be ready to walk on in 12 hours; 48 hours for vehicular traffic.TYPE OF FLOORS TREATED
NevaSlip etching treatment can make ceramic, porcelain and quarry tiles, marble, granite, terrazzo, limestone, slate, concrete, etc. slip-resistant. Usually, there is very little or no change in color or gloss. If there is an unacceptable loss of gloss or color change, then the Acrylic Coating can be used for a high gloss, slip-resistant finish.The Acrylic Coating is recommended for use on Wood, Vinyl, Metal, Glass, Painted Concrete and any tile, marble or granite, that when treated with the microscopic etching process, causes an unacceptable loss of gloss and/or color.
SLIP RESISTANT FLOOR GUARANTEE
Floors treated by NevaSlip technicians are guaranteed to have a Static Coefficient of Friction (SCOF) reading of.0.6 or higher. The Americans with Disabilities Act rates horizontal surfaces with a SCOF of 0.6 slip-resistant and safe.Micro Etched Floors are guaranteed for a minimum of 8 years.
Acrylic Coated Floors are guaranteed for one year.
